2017 has not been pretty for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. Two wins in 12 games, dumped out of both domestic cups and now, even the Greater Manchester Police are trolling their recent struggles.
Monday night’s 3-1 loss to Leicester was the latest episode in what feels like an entire series dedicated to catastrophe and the verified Twitter account for GMP Middleton decided to take advantage of the disheartened Reds.
The phrase, rubbing salt in the wounds springs to mind.
Use your mobile phone & drive as of today you’ll end up with more points on your licence than Liverpool FC got throughout February……SIX

Ouch, Klopp and his men really are getting hit from all angles. Pundits are jabbing them, fans are delivering brutal body shots, but GMP Middleton have delivered the haymaker.
Liverpool’s only two victories in 2017 have come against Plymouth Argyle and Tottenham as they sit on the brink of missing out on Champions League football once again.
Wolves, Hull and Swansea are perhaps the three standout fixtures in which the Reds have descended into true crisis mode. Brendan Rodgers surely must be watching with a patronising grin.
